Muhammad Atif Chishti is the Clinical Director at Specialist Physiotherapy and an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist with more than 20 years of experience in musculoskeletal and spinal care. He completed his MSc in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (MACP-accredited) in the UK and is fully HCPC-registered. His background includes early distinction-level training, specialist spinal rehabilitation in tertiary centres, and over a decade working in NHS community MSK services — where he assessed complex cases, provided advanced diagnostics and collaborated closely with spinal consultants.
Atif’s clinical expertise spans complex spinal conditions, persistent pain, post-surgical rehabilitation and functional restoration. He is a qualified MSK sonographer and delivers ultrasound-guided joint and soft-tissue injections, integrating imaging with rehabilitation planning to improve precision and outcomes. Alongside his clinical work, he is an experienced Clinical Educator who has delivered professional development courses nationally and internationally for MSK clinicians.
With a patient-centred and evidence-driven approach, Atif prioritises accurate diagnosis from the first appointment and clear, tailored treatment plans.
